‘Single Take’ added to Indian Blackboard Int’l fest lineup

Iranian short flick ‘Single Take’ has been added to the Iranian lineup of the 2nd Blackboard International Film Festival in India.

Directed by Pouria Parvini, ‘Single Take’ will mark its third international display on March edition of the Blackboard screening event

‘Single Take’ will represent Iran at the 2022 Indian festival along with Iran’s ‘Result’ by the same director.

A synopsis to the short reads, “I know that it’s hard to make a good film in this circumstances, but I want to make it…”

Mehrzad Niknam, Babak Parham, Maryam Goudarzi, Mohammad-Reza Heidari, Sahar Hessami, Keikavous Shokouhi, Ali Shahhosseini, and Roshanak Faridi are among the cast team of the film.

Parvini’s short film previously went on screen at the 14th edition of the ROFIFE Film Festival in Turkey.

In April, ‘Single Take’ will be screened at the 2022 Lift-Off's First-Time Filmmakers Showcase.

The Blackboard International Film Festival celebrates “film makers and creators around the world, who take a risk and do experiments in film making.”

The upcoming edition of the festival will take place on March 31, 2022.
